Home Tours


Presented by AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design, San Francisco and Marin Living: Home Tours is the first tour series of its kind in the Bay Area to promote a wide variety of architectural styles, neighborhoods, and residences—all from the architect’s point of view. The annual program provides design enthusiasts and the general public with an inside look into the world of distinctive residences in Marin and San Francisco.

Projects are showcased via an open house format. Tour participants have the opportunity to see some of the area’s latest residential projects from the inside out, meet design teams, explore housing trends, and discover design solutions that inspire unique Bay Area living. Featured Projects

The 2013 Marin Living: Home Tours featured residences in Mill Valley, Tiburon, Ross and San Rafael. Participating firms included Jensen Architects with Andrea Ponsi, Koji Tsutsui & Associates with Jon Brody, Van Meter Williams Pollack, David Spurgeon and Feldman Architecture.


About the Tours

The popular San Francisco and Marin Living: Home Tours series is the first tour series of its kind in the Bay Area to promote a wide variety of architectural styles, neighborhoods, and residences— all from the architect’s point of view. Annual tours provide design enthusiasts with an inside look into the world of distinctive residences in San Francisco and Marin.

Each project is showcased with its designer(s) via an “open house” format, and tour participants have the opportunity to see some of the region’s latest residential projects from the inside out, meet with project designers, explore housing trends, and discover design solutions that inspire unique Bay Area living.
