The SF Bicycle Coalition has established our long-term vision for streets in San Francisco through our Connecting the City campaign – but how do we get there faster? Show the demand? Test what’s possible on our streets?
Today, many of our bikeways are challenged – and they take a long time to get on the ground.
We put a challenge to Bionic to get San Francisco residents and visitors on safer bikeways, faster. Temporary bikeways can help build demand and show San Franciscans what’s possible with more protected bikeways. In order for the city to meet its goals, we must accelerate our pace.
